Clinical Consultant
Role Overview
Responsible for clinical review of files and providing consultation
Qualifications/Requirements
- Clinical health background required, must be a Regulated Health Professional
- Experience with the SABS, Motor Vehicle Accident Claims, Personal Injury cases
- Minimum 3-5+ years' experience working on medical assessment files
- Post-secondary degree in health sciences is preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and medical disciplines
- Ability to examine records/reports
- The ability to work well with others.
- Strong problem solving, decision making, critical thinking skills
Duties
- Responsible for triaging referrals and providing clinical review of cases
- Clinical resource to Intake and Assessor Relations
- Contribute to the development of account-specific training programs and materials
- Respond to client queries with respect to clinical concerns
